Resource Recycling, L.L.C. is a privately held company that develops Ash Processing and Metal Recovery Systems specifically for the Waste-to-Energy industry. Our company is uniquely qualified to produce value-added metal products from the W-T-E ash stream & market these products to consumers. Resource Recycling specializes in creating value added markets for all non-ferrous metals recovered from W-T-E Facilities. Our services, which includes project development, preliminary design, and consultation, meets the unique operational & mechanical requirements of each of our customers. Business plans are developed to ensure optimal system performance while maximizing our customers’ revenues.
Resource Recycling currently provides full service marketing of recovered non-ferrous metals for W-T-E Facilities throughout the U.S. Our services include arranging transportation for all recovered metals, obtaining the highest available price for the recovered metals in both domestic and international markets. Resource Recycling maintains strategic relationships with valued consumers to ensure consistent, viable and valuable markets.
RRLLC is part of the Southern Scrap Recycling (SoRec) and European Metals Recycling (EMR) group of companies. SoRec was founded in 1900 and privately held until 2006. EMR purchased SoRec and all of its subsidiaries in April 2006. EMR is the third largest multi national scrap company in the world based on ferrous tons produced (and second largest based on all metals produced) with over 65 locations in the U.K., U.S., Germany and the Netherlands. EMR has over 1400 employees world wide. EMR produces over 6,000,000 (six million) tons per year of ferrous metals and over 800,000,000 (eight hundred million) pounds per year of non-ferrous metals.
RRLLC was founded in 1988 specifically to serve the needs of the WTE industry. In 2003, RRLLC formed Steinert US, LLC (SUS), a joint venture with Steinert GmbH of Cologne, Germany. SUS is the exclusive distributor of Steinert equipment in North America and provides full service and support for all installed equipment.
RRLLC has owned and operated ash processing and metal recovery systems and designed, installed and/or provided consulting services for most of the WTE facilities producing non-ferrous metals in the U.S. RRLLC currently markets approximately 25,000,000 pounds per year of WTE produced non-ferrous metals. Projects currently in development will increase this to over 30,000,000 pounds per year.
